Respected Hazrat Hakeem Sahib, Asalam Alaikum! I am writing good and tested remedies for the treatment of dental and gum problems. My mother would use these tonics and subject three of us siblings to these remedies. By the grace of Almighty Allah, no one has ever become a victim to any dental problem.

For sensitive teeth: Take cloves, soonth, black pepper, carom and salt equal in weight and grind these things to a fine powder. Rub the powder on teeth. Rinse your mouth after five minutes. It would cure sensitivity of the teeth.

Tonic number 2: It cures the swollen and bleeding gums and corrects the itching sensation in teeth.

Ingredients: A lump of noshadar (ammonium chloride), 40 seeds of black pepper and two skins of reetha (Sapindus).

Recipe: Heat vitriol such that sulphur gets burnt. Let the vitriol lose temperature. Mix and grind all the three things to a fine powder. Apply the powder on teeth and gums. Water will start producing in mouth. Spit that water so that you may get rid of all waste elements present in your mouth. Rinse your mouth after ten minutes.  (Tariq Mehmood, Sahiwal)
